About
Developmental Neuropsychology Associates, P.C. consists of two neuropsychologists who specialize in working with children, adolescents, and young adults. Our goal is to understand how your child thinks, learns, and behaves so we can help you figure out how to improve academic, social-emotional, and/or behavioral functioning. In addition to testing, the evaluation also includes interview and history gathering, school observation, and review of records. In our experience, all of this is needed to provide you with a clearer understanding of what is going on, and identify effective interventions for your child.
At Developmental Neuropsychology Associates, P.C., Mary F. Lazar, Psy.D. and Meghan DeVries, Psy.D. are pediatric neuropsychologists who are each licensed psychologists and certified school psychologists. We start by talking with parents to find out their concerns and what questions they are hoping to answer by doing an evaluation.
We encourage you to schedule a phone intake through our website. This way we can find out what your concerns are, answer your questions, and determine what type of evaluation is needed. Sometimes a full neuropsychological evaluation is indicated, but in other cases, we may review records and determine that we can provide a more targeted assessment.
