Hi, I'm Mary.
I’m an autistic therapist who specializes in supporting autistic teens, adults, and families. My work is grounded in helping you make sense of your experiences and finally receiving therapy that fits your brain.
Being a teenager, adult, or parent is tough enough, but add an autism diagnosis and it can feel overwhelming. Our therapy practice specializes in all things autism-related, including in depth diagnostic testing, individual therapy for teens and adults, and supportive therapy groups for individuals with autism and parents of children with autism.
Our office is a place where you can be your authentic self—whether that means crying, swearing, being angry, sitting in silence for a few moments, or getting help from someone who truly understands your struggle. Support for Parents of Children with Autism
Heartwood Counseling and Wellness: Connect virtually with other parents in Texas who understand the unique joys and challenges of raising an autistic child. In this bi-weekly group, you’ll have space to share experiences, explore emotional and practical concerns, and receive guidance through facilitated discussions. Sessions will include a blend of open process time, peer support, and targeted psychoeducation on topics such as communication, regulation, advocacy, navigating school and services, and supporting your child’s strengths. Together, we’ll build community, reduce isolation, and help you feel more confident and supported in your parenting journey.
