About
Silent and negative non-verbal thoughts to ourselves about life's circumstances can and will hurt us. They are the misbeliefs or lies we silently tell ourselves, over and over again about why we feel the way we feel when we experience suffering. Our silent, negative non-verbal thoughts become our negative self-talk and keep us stuck in life's circumstances. We can choose to make a difference. We can choose to recognize the misbeliefs or lies we tell ourselves so that we can start the healing process of moving forward.
I am a trained mental health counselor, working with children, preteens, adolescents, teenagers, young and older adults experiencing circumstances beyond their scope to deal with alone. There is hope and help available. I believe in the holistic approach in the treatment of the needs of clients and their families.
Know that "Band-Aids" come in different forms. They cover up old and current wounds, hurts, and pain. Being aware of who we are and how we got to where we are desires self-honesty. I help clients to recognize and uncover the "Band-Aid" that may be interfering with their healing process.
