Throughout my forty (40) years as a therapist in Private Practice, I have provided empathy, insight, information, validation and a confidential, non-judgmental and listening ear to hundreds of clients. My clients sought counseling to gain strategies for: anxiety/depression, assertive communication skills, grief/loss, trauma, lack of self-esteem, relationship issues and change on life situations. My clients need to be heard without being judged, to be understood, to be offered realistic and workable options to issues they have, and to know that they are valued and have worth as a person.
My virtual sessions include your active involvement and will provide you with opportunities to change your perspectives, thoughts, behaviors and/or feelings. Some of the strategies I use are: cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), client-centered, Christian-based, reality based, with logical consequences. I am also qualified to provide clinical hypnosis.
I do offer a free 15-minute phone session so that you can decide if I am the therapist for you. There are no "magic pills" for an instant, painless cure. You can gain perspectives and skills which will help you heal, grow and become more of the individual that you want (or know you need) to become. I help clients learn to help themselves.
