It’s hard being a human. Any human. Finding another human who can be with us while we learn and grow can feel scary and overwhelming, which is why I prioritize building a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship before anything else. I specialize in treating adults and children experiencing PTSD, anxiety, relational and developmental trauma, and stressors associated with life changes (i.e. divorce, pregnancy and childbirth, menopause, relocation, etc). I also love working specifically with women's mental health as well as with other mental healthcare providers to support their unique needs. Therapists benefit from therapy too!
As a certified clinical anxiety therapist, I am trained in using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Child Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) parts work in order to help clients develop healthy and integrated relationships with themselves and others.
My goal is, first, to understand my clients and then to help them achieve three primary goals: to open up to their feelings and experiences, to stay present in the moment rather than feeling pulled back to the past or worrying about the future, and do what matters most in their lives.
