I believe in the uniqueness of each human being and that all people have inherent strengths. I know when a person seeks counseling it is because he/she is feeling overwhelmed or stuck. In the safety of a professional helping relationship you will address those areas as well as recognize and utilize your own strengths so you can move forward to resolve your problems. I work with people on a variety of difficult life issues and I meet each person where they are at. In addition to helping individual adults, I work with parents, families and children ages 7-18.
I help empower people around life problems such as anxiety, anger, grief and parenting issues. I have a background of the more serious mental health problems such as Mood Disorders including Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar I and Bipolar II Disorders. I believe clients with these problems can obtain wellness with the right treatment approaches.
I work with people of all Faiths yet as a Catholic Christian I am sensitive to the spiritual needs of those individuals seeking a Christian Counselor who supports the role of one's Faith in relation to wellness and inner healing. Email inquiries are a preferred means of contact.
