Feelings of depression and anxiety are often a result of these changes in life's circumstances and can be alleviated by gaining insight and employing healthy coping skills. Behaviors that are sabotaging your well-being such as substance abuse, alcoholism or anger can be addressed. Just as important are negative behaviors of loved ones involving substance use, anger or domestic violence.
This Therapist creates a safe environment for you to identify and freely explore issues that you feel are holding you back. As a mature therapist, I bring not only clinical experience but life experience to our encounters. I have worked with the LGBTQ+ community, domestic violence, substance abuse, alcoholism, and cooccurring disorders.
