I have worked in the mental health field for 15 years. I am particularly experienced in the treatment of anxiety, mood disorders, relationship difficulties, trauma, and bereavement/grief and loss.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Centre College and a Master's Degree from University of Louisville's Kent School of Social Work. I use a variety of treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, IFS, EMDR, and Motivational Interviewing.
My most important goal is to meet my clients at their most imminent needs as they navigate their current circumstances. I also believe a key to effective treatment is the therapeutic relationship between the therapist and client.
