It may be for grief and loss issues, trauma, PTSD, family problems or for anxiety and depressive symptoms. I specialize in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) which is an evidenced based therapy. I have 14 years of experience using EMDR therapy with clients. EMDR therapy is especially beneficial for treating post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and for other unresolved issues. I am certified in EMDR which requires taking advanced workshops every two years in order to maintain certification. I am also an EMDR consultant. NOTE: I do not provide marital or couple's therapy.
I provide therapy in a safe and nurturing office space. Our therapeutic relationship is based on trust, attunement and good communication. Identifying what you want out of therapy is a collaborative effort. My therapeutic approach is insight oriented with a gentle and progressive approach to achieving treatment plan goals.
