Hello, nice to meet you. I am a professional counselor with over 20 years of agency counseling experience. I work with adults and adolescents in transition periods of life including divorce, empty nest, and career change. I also specialize in counseling for mental health and other service professionals encouraging personal wellness and work-life balance. I like to use a practical, person-centered, total wellness approach to counseling -incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Internal Family Systems, Trauma Informed Care and trauma based therapy. I currently offer evening sessions.
I enjoy working with young adults on the anxiety produced by transitioning into adulthood, educational, career and vocational planning, as well as adults thinking about a career change. I am also committed to working with mental health and other service professionals on self-care, work-life balance and stress reduction and treatment for trauma.
Counseling doesn't have to be scary. I offer a comfortable office space and a laid back, person-centered approach.
