Children and adolescents ages 10-19, who face social anxiety or lack the social awareness to connect successfully with their peers.They meet in age appropriate groups with trained peer mentors, in a home setting to learn and practice the skills as outlined by Michelle Garcia Winner in her Social Thinking curriculum. Additionally,PARENT TRAINING GROUPS are offered to provide techniques for effective implementation of goals and behaviors that are expected by parents. Through calm parenting effective discipline can be achieved.
