I believe any healing process involves the whole person. For over 30 years I have been practicing as a Clinical Social Worker and Psychotherapist, working with clients to improve their mental and emotional well-being. I am also passionate about physical health, and have extensive personal experience and knowledge related to the mind-body connection. I take an integrative and holistic perspective that includes, mind, body, spirit, and community, with a consistent focus on balance and universal needs.
I utilize an eclectic array of models and therapeutic techniques to facilitate healing and empower clients to grow into their authentic self. Currently, I am focused on Post Traumatic Growth; trauma-informed educational training to provide best practice, research based treatment, that will meet the needs of my client's.
I believe that the answers lie within each individual. I have a high regard for the client's right to self-determination, and strive to empower my client's toward personal responsibility. Identifying established belief structures, and building on the therapeutic relationship, allows for a unique healing journey toward wholeness.
