29 years experience helping adults, couples and families understand and address the sources of conflict in their interpersonal relationships and daily professional lives. The primary therapeutic goal is to effectively manage the negative emotions (such as low self-esteem, anger, anxiety and depression) which interfere with quality of life and achievement of personal and professional goals, inclusive of LBGQT life challenges. Pets are family too and an integral part of one's life and routine. The loss of a pet can be devastating. Hence, I also offer pet bereavement counseling.
Specialty in working with individuals who are looking to make changes in their lives but are hampered in their professional and personal goals by academic, professional and inter/personal challenges. Many of these obstacles arise from present and past conflicts and traumas, as well as racial, gender and sexual orientation discrimination.
I focus on self-actualization by coaching life skills for managing change and conflict in personal and professional lives. I am LBGQT supportive.
