About
I am an action-oriented mental health counselor working with adults and couples.I am located in Bellingham, Wa. I utilize a cognitive-behavioral approach in an effort to assist clients in achieving their goals by changing their thinking and consequent feelings and behavior. I specialize in the areas of depression, anxiety, life transitions, motivation, supporting clients in the maximizing of their potential, and gay and lesbian issues.
I have a passion for literature, physical activity, and the building of community and use these areas to aid clients in their own process. My approach is straight forward, respectful and kind.
"I make every effort to live by the principles that guide my work. To that end I do my best to live with passion, courage, compassion, truth, and humor. I enjoy biking, running, hiking, rock climbing, travel, reading great books, enjoying my garden, and time spent with friends and family.
