Sometimes we struggle and need help finding our way back to the life we want to live. We may experience feelings of anxiety, depression, hopelessness, and guilt. As a therapist, I aim to create a safe space for my clients to explore their feelings and experiences, and ultimately move towards the things they value. My practice is rooted in compassion, acceptance, and non-judgement. As a LGBTQI affirming therapist, I also recognize the role that oppression plays in creating and maintaining psychological pain. As such, the queer community is a priority in my work.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience in the field. My practice focuses on those encountering life transitions, and I use evidence-based practices to treat a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, substance misuse, coming out, relationships and more.
I know that making the first call is difficult. I hope you find comfort knowing that I am a therapist who will honor you as the expert in your own life and nurture your personal growth. I offer free face-to-face consultation to insure that we are a good fit and that you feel comfortable embarking on this journey with me.
