I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice with a background working with individuals and groups of various ages, cultures, and backgrounds. With 10 years of experience in the juvenile justice system, I strive to assist youth who may be struggling to improve their family dynamic, while working on their individual conflicts. I also have experience with members of the LGBTQ+, to include those who may be struggling with gender identity. If you are struggling with substance use, I am knowledgeable in individual as well as group therapy utilizing evidence-based techniques.
My approach to therapy is to ensure that everyone feels safe while working towards their goals. I understand that there is not one approach that works for every client or concern. I often implement CBT, Person-Centered, SFT, mindfulness-based, and multicultural frameworks. Ultimately, the best approach is what is the most effective for each individual.
