I am available to see children, adolescents and adults, in individual, couple and family meetings. I have seen children as young as age 2 1/2 and senior adults as old as 93. I see children directly, provide parents consultation re their children's needs and parental communication and approaches to use, as well as work with other medical and educational professionals. I can provide much background re the appropriate use of psychiatric medication (though I am not an MD/DO and cannot prescribe) as well as psychoanalytic understanding and cognitive-behavioral skills to address personal and interpersonal concerns.
My specialties are: (i) ADHD throughout the lifespan, (ii) Neuropsychology or evaluation of possible brain damage ages 16 through senior years, including Alzheimer's, stroke, MS, PD, CHI etc., and (iii) Pain Management through Clinical Hypnosis and cognitive-behavioral management. I also evaluate for Asperger's, Autism, and Learning Disorders.
In your initial phone call to me, we will review your specific needs, if and how I can be helpful and respond, and how insurance or private costs would apply. I also provide referrals to other practitioners if I am not available soon enough or if someone else might be better for you to see.
