I am a licensed clinical psychologist. I offer individual psychotherapy, couples therapy and psychotherapy supervision and consultation. I am grounded in the psychodynamic relational approach and I also use a broad range of methods and theories to tailor therapy to the goals and needs of each individual or couple. I consult with therapists in training and in practice and have taught supervision seminars to psychology graduate students and at several postgraduate training institutes.
I work with adults and adolescents who are coping with anxiety, depression and mood disorders, loss, life transitions and crises, problems in intimate relationships, trauma, and persostent troubling patterns of behavior. I have extensive training and years of experience in psychodynamic psychotherapy, couples therapy, schema therapy, and CBT.
In my work with patients, I aim to provide collaborative, supportive, yet challenging experiences in which patients can access their inner strengths, hope, and get out of the self fulfilling prophecies that have kept them stuck and demoralized. I help people discover the unfinished business from their past and work to reduce its hold on them.

Groups
Online group supervision for practitioners
I encourage supervisees (individually and in groups) to develop their ability to reflect-in-action and to value their own personal style of conducting therapy. Also, I have alot of experience helping therapists who have learned various theoretical approaches to incorporate psychodynamic methods into their work. My book, Psychodynamic Supervision: Perspectives of Supervisors and Supervisees, is a basic text in courses on supervision in graduate schools and psychoanalytic institutes across the country.
