I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 40 years of private practice experience. I treat individuals eighteen years old and over and couples. My goals with all clients are to correctly identify, understand and overcome self defeating aspects of their functioning. I adapt my treatment approach to the needs of each client and never forget to treat my clients with respect. When appropriate, I often use humor to address my clients issues. My office is in New London, but I see clients from all over Southeastern Connecticut, including employees from Pfizer, EB , L&M & ,of course, all others desiring psychological help.
I have a great deal of experience treating clients with anxiety, depression and anger issues. I am also very experienced in treating character disorder, often a critical factor in clients self defeating functioning and relationships. When working with couples together we decide on the best strategy to address their problems.
