About
Clients sometimes ask me why it's easier for them to talk about "heavy" things in my office, versus at home or with their friends. Their second question/concern is about why they should use their resources to take care of themselves instead of other things... My response: Seeking guidance from an unbiased third party usually allows for increased honesty and vulnerability because there's no judgement and no personal relationship with me outside of therapy. Your story matters! Taking care of You is one of the most important commitments that you'll ever make. Self awareness and confidence is something that every person deserves.
Through hard work in therapy, comes lasting results that will benefit not only you, but also others around you. Again, Your Story Matters!... And whichever "chapter" you're in, therapy will help with writing the ones that follow. Sometimes we get "stuck" on the chapters that have already happened.
Trauma, abuse, teen struggles, family conflict, personal trials, adjusting to life changes, and coping skills, are just a few of the things that I can help you with. Whether you believe this to be true or not, please tell yourself that "I am Me and I Matter". Visit my website!
