Martha Leesman's Groups
The Daring Way(tm) is a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. The method was designed for work with individuals, couples, families, and organizations. During the process we explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness. We examine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding us back and we identify the new choices and practices that will move us toward more authentic and wholehearted living. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and developing daily practices that transform the way we live, love, parent, and lead.
Men and women who are fully engaged in life will have fall down moments that are often painful and require an intention to rise strong and get back into the game of life. This group will focus on developing resiliency so that you are fully equipped to re-engage in life with enthusiasm and joy. Based on the research and works of Brené Brown, Phd.
I offer supervision for LPC-Interns (LPC-I). With me, not only will you gain the experience of practicing in a therapeutic setting, you will also be given first hand knowledge of working in a private practice. My experiences can be a learning tool for you to decide upon working in private practice or working in the community mental health sector.
