I believe that a single approach doesn’t fit everyone. Therapy is a difficult journey to begin, and an even tougher one to continue. Each person is at a different point of that journey, and my job is to help them along when needed. Whether we only meet for a consultation, or you decide you'd like to work together, my hope is that you take something valuable from our meeting.
This is a collaborative process, and treatment plans are constantly evaluated and adjusted to meet your needs as a partner in the process. I prefer open and honest communication. I am direct, transparent, and open-minded. I strive to provide a non-judgmental, safe environment.
The foundation of my approach and my work comes from my identity as a first-generation immigrant as well as a retired active duty service member. Regardless of our experiences, all of us have something in common: we all have a story, and that story is full of change, the unknown, and lessons to be learned. I'd like to be able to help along the way.
