Welcome to my practice! If you're reading this, maybe you've been having a rough time. Maybe you've been feeling anxious or depressed, beyond where that seems ok. Perhaps you're feeling stuck in patterns of thinking, feeling, and acting that don't feel good or no longer "work." I believe that all of us can feel better and have more satisfying lives, no matter how difficult our circumstances may be. I have been privileged to witness extraordinary healing and growth in many of my clients.
I work with adults on anxiety and anxiety disorders, PTSD/trauma issues, depression, loss and grief, mood disorders, stressful life transitions, and also with emotional distress due to environmental sensitivities and career/work-related stress. My approach is eclectic, as I believe we are unique individuals with different needs at different times.
I believe it is the therapeutic relationship between my clients and me that promotes healing and growth, as much as the right approach, and that both compassion and humor are important for therapy to work. I've worked with a broad range of helping/ healing modalities for over 28 years.
