As a clinician with over 30 years experience, I work with people facing all types of challenges in their lives. My approach is a responsive one that aims to support growth, perspective and healing, deepen self-understanding, and to help people develop new skills to change unhealthy patterns that hold them back. I am especially geared towards helping people deal with life changes including divorce, health issues, grief, depression, anxiety and relationship issues. Clients can expect to be treated with respect and encouragement.
I have training in different modalities including psychodynamics, family systems, cognitive behavioral therapy, divorce mediation/parenting plans, mindfulness and brief therapy. I treat each client as an individual who is bringing to therapy his/her unique history, circumstances and strengths. It is up to us to collaboratively find a positive avenue for insight and change.
I am available for appointment for ongoing or brief therapy and for consultation. I provide individual and group therapy, and I work with attorneys regarding divorce mediation and parenting plans. I have additional work experience in medical/teaching hospitals including end of life care, transplants, crisis, and trauma.
