As a 27 year old member of the LGBTQ+ community, I am uniquely positioned to aid individuals and families adjusting to life transitions and expressions of sexuality and gender. My professional experience has provided me with the skills and disposition necessary to aid persons struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, suicidal ideation and other mental health concerns commonly experienced by individuals aged 12 and up.
I specialize in working with teens and young adults who experience suicidal ideation. I remember just how hard it was to be a teenager and how it felt to be a teenager in therapy. I utilize music, games, art and other activities to make therapy a fun and engaging environment where you can feel safe expressing uncomfortable emotions.
Beginning counseling can feel overwhelming, and you have already taken the first step. Together, we can undo any harm caused by previous engagements with mental health treatment. Through the use of a strengths perspective, accelerated experiential dynamic psychotherapy, and person-centered relational treatment we can move from pain towards healing.
