Announcement icon During the COVID-19 pandemic, I am offering telehealth (video) sessions through doxy.me. Call or email me- I am continuing sessions.
I work with a broad population, including those with ADHD (adult and child), anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, grief, workplace issues, and other mental health issues. I have extensive experience working with the LGBTQ population, including assisting individuals throughout the transition process. I am steadfast in providing compassionate, non-judgmental support.
I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and also use a combination of other approaches towards trauma resolution. While I do use a more eclectic approach to therapy, I utilize many components of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which has been shown to be beneficial for a broad range of clients.
I have 25 years' experience in the counseling field, and have built an approach to therapy that is a collaborative effort between therapist and client, assisting clients in finding and utilizing the resources within themselves to elicit change. I am currently accepting new clients in my practice, and welcome the opportunity to work with you.
