I am passionate about normalizing mental health care and reducing the stigma attached to mental health concerns. I believe in a holistic approach to therapy, meeting each individual where they are at and providing empathetic, strength based counseling, centered around a strong therapeutic alliance between counselor and client, through validation and normalization of each client's concern. I will help you cultivate self-awareness and mindfulness to increase positive coping skills when dealing with challenging situations and managing trauma responses as a part of therapy as needed.
I am a certified yoga instructor and draw on my experience with yoga to guide the therapeutic process to the comfort level of the client. This includes grounding and breathing exercises, and meditation based on the individual client's needs and comfort.
I pride myself in providing highly goal oriented, holistic treatment to help guide and unleash your inner wisdom, as I believe YOU are the expert in your own life. We all need help at times, and I would be privileged to play a part in your healing journey wherever you may be in your life
