I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with 38 years of experience in social services and mental health. I work primarily with adults and adolescents who are dealing with the lasting effects of trauma, PTSD, and adverse life experiences. My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and collaborative, combining Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with elements of Cognitive Processing Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Focused CBT, and DBT. My goal is to help you make sense of your experiences, understand how they’ve shaped your life, and regain a sense of control and purpose. In our first session, I’ll take time to learn about you as a whole person and the unique context that brought you to therapy.
