The challenges of recent years and their unique stresses and isolation may have increased the feeling that no one understands the difficult world that you carry around inside. Seeking therapy is an important decision that may mean you are ready to grow and change and understand more fully the roadblocks that get in the way of living the life you want for yourself. You are seeking an experienced, empathic and trusted professional who will come to learn your inner landscape along with you and will support and guide you as you make the changes you seek. Together we will work toward your creating a more joyful and meaningful life.
I work with individuals and couples over 18 years old, with particular experience with college students and young adults navigating identity issues, relationships and life choices. As a Medicare provider, I work with those experiencing the life changes of retirement and aging. My rabbinic training informs my work with interfaith couples and spiritual issues.
While problems in living often result from earlier experiences, together we can work toward strengthening your ability to make the changes you want in the present. By identifying self-defeating patterns, our work can help manage difficult emotions such as depression and anxiety, and navigate the challenges you may encounter in important relationships.
