I believe in meeting clients where they are at in their healing process. Assisting my clients in identifying their unique strengths in order to find balance and joy in their lives is always at the core of the therapy process. I provide a straightforward, compassionate approach with my clients and take my work very seriously. I do not, however, take myself overly seriously, so clients feel I am very easy to relate to. I believe that everyone, at some point, can benefit from therapy. It's not only to fix what might feel broken, but also to improve on what's working in our lives.

I have a solid foundation in mental health and substance abuse counseling having worked with both adolescents and adults for the past thirteen years. I also enjoy working with college students and believe that being a student in today's world can be challenging with the pressures of academics, peers, and self-discovery. Mindy has been practicing psychotherapy in Milwaukee County for more than 10 years. She enjoys working with children, adolescents and adults and practices from an integrated approach utilizing Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy modalities and believing that the client is the expert on their own experiences. She specializes in depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, major life transitions and stress management.
