I have experience working with a wide variety of life problems and mental health disorders, but my primary interests include depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), academic issues, panic/phobias, anger management, addiction, couples, marriage, and family relationship issues.

I provide services for the following: Child/Adolescent - development, application, and evaluation of behavioral/cognitive-behavioral interventions for child/teen populations (e.g., under-served, children of divorce, juvenile victims of violent crimes, children with conduct and personality disorders, children with developmental disorders, and adolescents with chemical dependency and life challenges). Adults/Elderly - individual, couples and family psychotherapy (e.g., marital, parenting, aging, divorce issues, chemical dependency, mood disorders, depression and anxiety, personality disorders, post-traumatic stress, and LGBTQ).

My practice serves children, teens, and adults. For children, parents and our collaboration is the most important part of a positive outcome. Part of my service is to improve parenting skills by providing information, encouragement, and support. Teenagers face special challenges in life. We need to build bridges of communication and understanding so parents and teens can better negotiate healthy maturity. For adults in therapy, I can help your identify and enhance yours strengths, skills, and resources to meet your unique concerns. As a former U.S. Army Reservist, I can relate to military personnel and their issues.

I graduated from the University of Houston Victoria- Katy campus with a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
