I also have over 3000 professional psychotherapy/counseling hours working with young adults and couples. My clients may be having difficulties with personal relationships, depression, anxiety, stresses of life, or workplace and or trauma. Psychotherapy is about helping people work through struggles and find balance in life. Christian, spiritual psychotherapy is available for clients who prefer a faith focus approach. Dr. Jackson has a bachelors' and masters' degree in General Psychology from the University of Houston. Her Doctor of Philosophy Degree is in Clinical Adolescent Psychology from Prairie View A & M. She has been involved in clinical work for the past 21 years and a college professor for 16 years.

I am passionate about helping people to promote well-being and to manage emotional distress and psychiatric symptoms. I enjoy using psychological theories and mind-body interventions to help children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds to improve their physical and mental health. I have helped people to reach their physical health goals, heal from trauma, make career and life transitions, grow in marriages and relationships, and build mood and anxiety management tools. My sessions focus on sharing information and skills to address your unique needs and life circumstances. We will develop a treatment plan together.

My sessions are forward focused in which the treatment plan is focused on areas of growth. With that said every treatment plan created is personalized for the individual based on their needs, wants and symptoms, but is catered to female oriented issues.
