My passion is treating clients who have endured trauma. I'm trained in EMDR. I combine EMDR with narrative therapy to help clients resolve and reprocess the traumatic event. I love working with clients who suffer from depression, bipolar, and personality disorders. I also work with couples and families who are in crisis. I am also endorsed by the American Psychotherapy Association as a Board Certified Professional Counselor.

I am a counselor and co-owner of Third Coast Counseling and Wellness. My masters degree is in Clinical Psychology and I have been working in the behavioral health field for over 10 years. As past Chief of Allied Staff of a inpatient psychiatric hospital plus 20+ years of private practice, I provide a strong base of clinical skill and experience for all my clients. My practice is primarily family therapy where multiple family members participate. The majority of the families I work with have at least one, if not many, of the following diagnoses: AD/HD, oppositional defiant disorder, selective mutism, learning disorders (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, pragmatic communication, etc), social communication disorder, autism, anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, and/or bipolar disorder. I actively use Accelerated Resolution Therapy(ART) to help people gain relief from trauma and persistent unwanted thoughts. I also offer comprehensive reports for social security applications.
