In a safe, accepting environment, I will work with you to remedy the struggles experienced in today's world and find healthy ways to cope with life's stress. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, a National Board Certified Counselor and a Certified Equine Therapist. I am also a retired professor of counselor education, teaching and practicing for 20 years.. I have 20 years experience working with individuals, families and children who have experienced domestic violence/sexual assault, trauma, along with the stress that comes with daily living.
My experience has enabled me to develop the skills to allow clients of any age the opportunity to explore and heal those issues that may be causing them to experience dysfunction and pain.
I provide a fully accepting environment in which all clients feel safe to express themselves fully. Modalities include: Traditional talk therapy, expressive arts, and family activity therapy.
