I am a Licensed Psychologist in Texas (in person & virtual sessions) & Illinois (virtual only sessions) providing short and long-term therapy to adults (ages 18 and up). I have worked with individuals from all ranges of life including varying socio-economic status and different stages of life in settings like college counseling centers, community mental health, and forensic detention facilities. Some areas of interest to me are depression or difficult moods, troubling thought processes, low self-esteem, anxiety, anger management, recovery from trauma, and chronic relationship problems/marriage difficulties.

With 14 years of experience in therapy, I truly enjoy my job. I am compassionate about helping others establish a strong foundation so they can effectively cope with current struggles as well as struggles they’ll be approached with in the future. My clients would describe me as compassionate, easy to talk to, and very understanding. I'm sensitive to the unique experiences of each individual and believe connection, trust, and understanding are essential to the therapeutic process. I value getting goals accomplished and making progress during each session.

At New Solutions Counseling, as an experienced clinician of 25 years, I treat various needs with extensive trainings & have a passion for healing. Greetings. I am a general practitioner with 20 years of experience providing psychological services. My training and practice covers the human life span. Individuals, couples, and Families are welcome. I use a unique, innovative, culturally appropriate approach that is based on best practices derived from empirical and qualitative research. With all my clients, I seek to help them pursue the full unfolding of their true self, and close the gap between their present reality and their ideal. I especially enjoy working with couples who are looking for ways to strengthen or repair their marriage. The children and teens in these families may also be experiencing challenges in coping with the stress of life, and I work with them to develop healthier ways to engage with parents, friends and school.
