My name is Roberto "Robert" Guerrero, I am a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in Texas, and CCTP, National Certified Counselor (NCC) and BC-TMH provider. I have over nine years of experience in the field of mental health and chemical dependency, and currently operate a private counseling practice exclusively online near Dallas, Texas. I primarily work with young adults and adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, grief, career issues, relationship and marriage problems, and other life challenges. Lifeworks Counseling Center, PLLC has been in business since 1992. We provide therapy for ages 4 and up. We have 9 therapists (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) who provide counseling for almost any emotional/mental/spiritual challenge people face in today's culture. We have therapists on most major insurance and EAP panels and also work with private pay clients as well.

My client population includes children, adolescents and adults. I work with individuals as well as families. I facilitate numerous groups and skills training curriculum in various topics including adolescent first offenders, anger management, divorce and separation, parenting, and teen issues.

I have a straight-forward, solution-based focus on making progress quickly. I am known for helping parents reduce conflicts with their sons, in particular, and have an emphasis on making parenting boys much more enjoyable and effective. I also have extensive experience in helping couples become more understandable to one another, and in providing them with relationship skills which enable both individuals to have their needs met.

I love helping individuals grow to their fullest potential, as they utilize tools that reside within. My experience includes working in Private Practice settings and Veteran Mental Health/Rehabilitation facility. Additional experience has been gained by working in adolescent residential treatment, and intensive outpatient. My counseling experience has given me a natural ability to work with individuals, groups, and families of any culture or background. I have the ability to meet individuals where they are in life and help implement tools to grow. My expertise includes working with Veterans adjusting back to civilian life, adults, and adolescents.
