Hello my name is Tamolyn “Tammy” Williams, MA, LPC, NCC with Start Your Growth Counseling. My client population includes children, adolescents and adults. I work with individuals as well as families. I facilitate numerous groups and skills training curriculum in various topics including adolescent first offenders, anger management, divorce and separation, parenting, and teen issues.

Mr. Simmons utilizes a mind/body-based treatment approach that combines relevant talk therapy modalities, psychoeducation, mindfulness and somatic stabilization techniques, along with Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing, Multichannel Eye Movement Integration (MEMI), Emotional Freedom Technique, and Trauma Informed treatment techniques to address client's presenting symptoms and achieve a variety of treatment goals.

I started Family Matters Counseling Center after I realized that a family system is one that the client creates and is not born into. From here I developed a passion to learn each unique families story to help them overcome their obstacle in maintaining balance within their family system.
