I have been a counselor for more than 30 years. Over the years I have worked with clients with significant trauma and loss. I consider it a privilege to stand with another individual as he or she resolves great pain. I am currently seeing clients exclusively via telemedicine (secure video platform). I am able to see clients in Texas, Kansas, Alabama, and California.

BSL & Associates offers a weekly dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) group for individuals struggling with relationship chaos, difficulty managing one's moods, impulsive choice making, poor self-esteem, and thinking errors. This groundbreaking treatment approached pioneered by Dr. Marsha Linehan teaches the skills of mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, managing emotions, and distress tolerance. The DBT group is a closed group and meets for 12 sessions each term. Participants are encouraged that in addition to group participation that they also are involved in individual therapy with their own therapist. The group meets weekly for 90 minutes.
