I opened my practice-Aging Resources and Counseling because I saw a need for guidance, resources, and counseling for those experiencing life changing diseases that affect individuals, families, and caregivers. Aging Resources & Counseling specializes in assisting individuals, families and caregivers with resources and counseling to help them navigate the aging journey when the path becomes difficult.

My name is Roberto "Robert" Guerrero, I am a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in Texas, and CCTP, National Certified Counselor (NCC) and BC-TMH provider. I have over nine years of experience in the field of mental health and chemical dependency, and currently operate a private counseling practice exclusively online near Dallas, Texas. I primarily work with young adults and adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, grief, career issues, relationship and marriage problems, and other life challenges. I also offer consulting services for business professionals.

Deciding to seek professional help through counseling can be an extremely difficult one to make. Finding the right counselor that fits your needs and personality can often be just as daunting. I strive to cultivate & nurture a collaborative effort with my clients while incorporating a combination of therapeutic techniques individualized toward each client's unique life experiences and goals for therapy.

I will support you in rewriting your story and defining who you are.

My goal is to enable clients to cope with life changes, learning differences, difficulties in thinking (cognitive deficits) and emotional instability in a supportive environment by learning self-management (mindfulness) and coping skills.

Accepting new clients! Therapy is a journey of discovery, and never one size fits all. Michelle will walk with you on this journey, meeting you where you are, and assisting you where needed, to get you where you want to be. Talking will only take you so far, the real work begins when you walk out that door/ turn off that video and face the area of concern(s) in your life. Making changes is not easy and everyone has different views and goals. Her job is to help support the client as they align their lifestyle to their goal, and provide a safe place for one to examine one's self and understand one's circumstances.
