As a Professional Counselor, I meet new clients with great interest. While getting acquainted, I like to note their strong qualities/abilities as well as recognize areas that need improvement to resolve pain or discomfort. I want to explore my client's own goals and seek methods that may help him/her approach them. I am ready to use cognitive, behavioral, interpersonal, psychodynamic or supportive therapy--whichever method or combination appears to be the best approach for the particular client with his/her particular needs. I have experience working with a wide variety of life problems and mental health disorders, but my primary interests include depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), academic issues, panic/phobias, anger management, addiction, couples, marriage, and family relationship issues.
