My theoretical approach to therapy is with cognitive behavioral therapy as a base, with aspects of solution-focused therapy mixed in. I come to the therapeutic process with the whole person in mind, their physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental aspects. I also love working with TCKs (third culture kids). Having lived internationally for many years, I appreciate and respect diverse cultures and backgrounds, and I love incorporating the expressive arts into my sessions. We all go through hard seasons of life, and I am here to help you, or your child, as you walk through yours.

Life is like a journey and sometimes the path gets a little bumpy, but it does not mean that we cannot reach our destination. We might have to slow down at times and reassess our route and possibly take a side road, however, other times we just have to slow down and be there. Trusting can be difficult and at times scary, but it can also be rewarding. As a therapist, I have learned that relationships can be very powerful and can truly help a person heal.
