I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. I specialize in couples who are seeking marriage enrichment, or trying to overcome difficulties in their relationships, or learning how to connect emotionally. I also work with individuals. My goal is to help clients in their struggles, which will help them reach their full potential in society. I know that life is a journey and sometimes we can get stuck in life. I provide a safe environment where the clients can learn and work on coping skills, so they will feel empowered in life. I focus on goals that the clients want to work on without feeling judged.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of South Carolina and a Master's of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling from Webster University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. My education and experience has prepared me to counsel individuals, groups, children, adults, and adolescents.

Hi, I am a License Professional Counselor Associate who works with adolescents and adults. I believe counseling is a cohesive relationship that helps individuals, couples, families, and groups accomplish mental health wellness and career/life goals. I really connect well with older adolescences and young adults who need help adjusting to all the changes (both positive and negative in life). Additionally, I have experience working with adults who struggle with conditions like anxiety, depression, and PTSD and couples with premarital counseling and couples counseling.

I am passionate about helping others be healthy and happy in life and in relationships. I work with adolescents who have been through traumatic situations and help them to know that there is hope. I take pride in being able to help others find their purpose and be confident with what that purpose is.

Someone once said “Those who wish to sing will always find a song”. But sometimes finding the motivation to ask for help when you need it can be a difficult task. There may be times when you feel like you can’t go to friends or family for help. As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, I provide a safe, compassionate, and confidential environment for my clients so that we can navigate through those tough times together. As a result, symptoms of anxiety, depression and self-doubt decrease through an increased sense of well-being.

Latasha is the lead counselor within the practice and she has been given a gift from God to help others who are hurting and experiencing emotional, behavioral, or mental challenges in their lives. Latasha is driven by her passion to help others as she recognizes that the stigma of emotional, mental, and behavioral health services prevent many people from seeking treatment. As a compassionate and caring counselor, Latasha has touched the lives of thousands of people. Latasha believes no one has to deal with issues alone. Latasha is willing to meet you where you are at in journey and provide support and guidance.

Greetings. I will not be accepting new clients until May 2024.- Living in a society where you live by everyone's standards except your own is challenging and frustrating. You may be anxiously trying to be accepted into a society who may look negatively on your values. You may be depressed by constantly seeking validation in ways you may not have approved of before. Your personality may be enticed by distorted thinking, and you may be facing an identity crisis. These are just a few ways how you may be faced with emotional struggles. No matter what you are facing, you have found someone that can help you be your true self.

I am currently accepting new clients for telehealth. My priority is helping you find the solution that works best for you, by listening carefully and asking the right questions before working with you to create a tailored plan to address your needs. I genuinely care about people and use a variety of modalities, theoretical perspectives, and techniques to create a strong therapeutic relationship in a compassionate and nonjudgmental environment.

There are places inside we would rather hide from, places we may have failed or lacked courage, experienced a trauma or deep pain. You can’t go there alone. You need a place where you can work through it all. In our sessions we will build an alliance to dig deeper into who you are and find insight for new perspective and renewed strength.
