My practice makes possible the important work of self-evolution & growth in part due to my eclectic approach & focus on the unique matters of every individual. My lived experiences have greatly influenced my desire to partner with my fellow travelers as we do our 'work' and to do so intentionally and mindfully.

I use cognitive behavioral therapy to help my clients with marriage and relationship problems, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and other issues. I take a proactive, holistic approach to effect changes not only in thinking but in behaviors, in order to promote increased well-being, contentment, and self esteem. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults, and maintain flexible working hours to accomodate work and school schedules. My practice is in network with several managed care companies, or I can assist you in filing a claim with your insurance company.

Throughout life's journey, there are many paths, some more challenging than others. As we learn to make healthy habits part on of our lives, we become happier and more fulfilled in other areas. I offer daytime and evening appointments and I am flexible with scheduling to meet your individual needs. I am certified in Pain Reprocessing Therapy (an evidenced based treatment for chronic pain). My clinical expertise is addiction/substance abuse treatment (both user and impacted family members) as I've worked in both inpatient & outpatient settings. I am very familiar with 12-step recovery but it is not my only tool. I can provide evaluation/assessment and potential referral to rehab if needed. My style is hands on & solution-oriented -- my goal is that you leave our sessions feeling empowered, motivated and have more coping skills to manage your life.
