Additional areas of treatment include: counseling divorce/separation and break-up issues, infidelity, restructuring life following a loss, catastrophic event, managing cancer survivorship and developing coping strategies following life transitions (loss of job/graduating from college), supportive treatment for infertility struggles, as well as, treatment for anxiety, depression, and stress. My extensive nursing background, coupled with my Masters Degree therapy training and experience, have given me a deeper depth of empathy and understanding of life's challenges.
For over 20 years, I have helped clients to develop effective methods of communication and personal empowerment. Working together, we develop a personalized strategy for gaining control over identified life issues that have seemed insurmountable or complicated. I utilize techniques which increase self-esteem, and use of the models of cognitive therapy/family systems therapy.
Sessions are available, at this time virtually, via Zoom/FaceTime or an Audio session. Virtual sessions have proven to be convenient, effective and highly effective for individual and couple sessions. They expedite time management (no commute). In office sessions will resume as the pandemic unwinds.. Offices located in Philadelphia and Main Line area.
