I am accepting NEW clients. I am seeking clients who are ready to work on their personal struggles and gain insight into what is triggering symptoms. I am interested in individuals who are on the spectrum, the LGBTQIA community, Self-esteems and self love concerns, generational trauma, post-traumatic stress disorders, anxiety, and depression. I specialize in work with individuals who experience Anxiety Disorders (OCD, General Anxiety, Phobias), Depression, Insomnia, Autism Spectrum Disorders as well as those with medical or complex presentations (e.g. depression and diabetes). I believe therapy must involve a human connection and have come to find a good sense of humor is critical to the work done in therapy. Without a strong therapeutic relationship, it is nearly impossible to make progress. However, within the context of a collaborative, supportive environment, CBT tools can be very useful. When CBT tools are not helpful, eccentric evidence-based practices may be.

Many of my clients would agree that what they look for in a counselor is someone who "has been there themselves." They look for someone that has the education and experience to successfully assist them. I have that combination of personal experiences and educational background. I offer therapy services for individuals, couples, and families, and see clients between the ages of 14 and 40 years old. I approach counseling through the understanding that individuals are a product of their environmental contexts and may equally influence those contexts. I also believe that we do not exist in a stagnant and unchanging world, and are continuously evolving as individuals, which shapes my scope of practice. I focus on working with clients towards empowerment and identifying behavioral, cognitive, and emotional patterns that may no longer serve their best interests.

The emphasis of my work includes treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, interpersonal difficulties, psycho-spiritual issues, ADHD, and child/adolescent behavior problems.
