The counselors at PCG are skillful and caring masters and doctoral-level professionals, trained to provide the highest level of care for people struggling with mental health and emotional problems, including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, and relational issues. We work from an integrated behavioral, holistic, relational, and systemic perspective to help clients better understand their problems, find solutions and healing, and rebuild healthy relationships.

Welcome! My name is Dr Corey Gilbert. I have been working with marriages and families for over 23 years. My primary focus is on trauma, gender and sexual identity, infidelity, marriage restoration, & marital sexual stuck points - all from a biblical traditionally Christian worldivew. So if you are looking for that kind of leadership and direction, I am that person. I have been a University professor at the Undergrad, Gradaute, and Doctoral level for 19+ years. My track record is seeing great changes quickly for most. You and I will create a plan that works best for you, your desired outcomes, your budget, and family.

As a professional counselor, I enjoy working with children, adolescents and adults. I can treat a wide range of mental health disorders. I can also offer support with parent-child conflicts, anger management, grief, past or present suicidal ideation, and conflict resolution skills. I am also familiar with issues and concerns related to marriage and long term relationships, parenting, substance use and recovery, divorce, and changes in phase of life. I prefer a Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) approach, while working with clients.

We are a practice group of licensed psychologists that provide mental health services in English, Russian, and Ukrainian. We provide individual, couple, family, and group therapy, for ages 4 years old and up.

I am passionate about utilizing the Gottman Method Couple's Therapy approach and pull from various theories on attachment. In addition to my work with couples, I enjoy working with individual adults also struggling in relationships but would like a one-on-one focus.

Each session will be directed by the client with an opportunity to develop skills to work through daily trials, past trauma and any future obstacles.

Sometimes we put on a mask to look positive, but underneath we're feeling overwhelmed, worn down, hurt, and discouraged. It can be an isolating experience, coupled with anxiety, sadness, and uncertainty. Although it can be intimidating to begin, therapy is a great place to let your guard down and share what's really going on inside. I'll help you find your way forward, and we'll do it together. It is hard enough to ask for help when you know what is not working for you in life. It becomes increasingly more difficult when there is only pain and the source is unknown. I focus on helping you reach your therapeutic goals by listening and building our therapeutic relationship; and strive to create a safe environment for you to explore the source of your struggle and pain without judgment. I do this through a lens called Restoration Therapy by understanding the current pain cycle and helping you to establish a peace cycle.

We, as humans, are presented with major life choices and trials. I met mine early in life as a combat veteran in the U.S. Army. I've found that if we draw on our unique strengths and abilities to rise up and meet these challenges, a path for positive change can begin.
