I have trained in a range of therapeutic approaches, but am anchored in the Humanistic and Cognitive Behavioral schools. My specialized training includes EMDR, ACT therapy, and the Enneagram. I have also received L1 Gottman Method Couples Therapy training.

Some seasons of life are joyful such as the anticipation of a graduation, getting married or welcoming a new baby. Other times we find ourselves in a season of adversity and become overwhelmed by our circumstances. Profound disappointment sets in and we grieve our lost dreams and unmet expectations. During these more difficult seasons, we may develop negative beliefs about ourselves or the world around us that cause further suffering. I work with kids as young as 18 months as well as adult women. If you have a kid who has experienced something stressful – abuse, neglect, divorce, medical ailments, multiple moves, etc. – and is anxious, angry, sad, distrustful, clingy and more, I will work with your child and you to effectively deal with what has happened and decrease problematic behaviors, emotions, and thoughts.
