At Serenity Counseling, our hope is to provide quality care for your psychological and emotional well-being. Our priorities include having a relaxed and calm environment, caring non-judgmental therapists, and meeting the client where they are at and alter our approach based on their needs. We have therapists who specialize in a variety of concerns. We see clients of all ages. Couples and marital counseling, young adults, anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance use, and trauma are all some common concerns our therapists work with.

Racheal Wilson (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who is supervised by Michael Pollak, PCC-S. She provides individual counseling to adolescents (16+) and adults. Her areas of focus include bipolar disorder, dual-diagnosis, substance-use disorders, schizophrenia spectrum and other psychotic disorders, complex trauma, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

We can often be embarrassed or scared and not know or understand what we are feeling. My role as a counselor is to assist you in finding the light at the end of the tunnel. I am here to provide you with support in a non-judgmental way and to help you meet the goals you have for yourself. In the collaborative space we create together, I invite you to show up for the work of healing whatever you identify as your focus for our time together.

Sometimes we need a safe and comfortable environment to express our thoughts and feelings. I believe every client is unique and has different needs. I enjoy building a therapeutic relationship with my clients to learn what my clients want therapy to focus on. I value every clients confidentiality and ensure every client is treated with dignity and respect.

Lisa sees clients from ages 8 years and up with specific competence in working with PTSD. attachment/developmental trauma, and blended family dynamics. Lisa’s focus is in working with clients to build a tool kit based on practical techniques that bolster confidence to cope with the challenges that life presents.

Lauren welcomes everyone as her client, and those most excited to work with her will be the explorers of the universe, deep-soul divers, pioneers of creative frontiers, and those willing to be real with themselves while seeking a better life. Lauren excels at assisting with many issues, especially those involving trauma or loss. She loves to be there for people as part of the solution and she knows how hard it is to try to do it alone.

Hello! My name is Donna Murray and I look forward to connecting with you. I’ve had the joy of working in the counseling field for over 25 years in multiple settings including: private practice, inpatient and outpatient, home-based, school-based and residential detox. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the states of Ohio, West Virginia and North Carolina and have been offering counseling services since 1996. Currently, I also serve on the West Virginia Certification Board for Addiction & Prevention Professionals.

My specialties are working with individuals, families, couples, and groups in the areas of mental health and addiction (alcohol & drug, sexual, gambling, internet, etc.,) trauma, abuse, PTSD, legal issues, depression, anxiety, grief, anger management, domestic violence and behavioral management. Substance Abuse Professional (SAP).

I enjoy working with clients who may be struggling with issues such as depression, anxiety, emotional management, poor self-esteem, experiencing grief and loss; who are motivated and open to change and doing homework, and who desire to be a healthier version of themselves.

I have experience working with clients who suffer from a range of mental illnesses, including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorder, and more. I take an approach that involves meeting clients where they are. I learn about their stories and assess what the right path is for their needs and goals. Having a client who is open and receptive to therapy is all a therapist could and should ask for.

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Ohio with over eight years of clinical experience. I have worked with individuals, couples, and families with a wide range of concerns, including Anxiety, Depression, Relationship Issues, Grief, Trauma, and PTSD. My counseling style consists of Christian Counseling, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Couples Therapy, Solution Focused Brief (SFBT), and Motivational Interviewing. It has been significant and rewarding to see how people walk out from problems, change, and have a happier life.

I am a Licensed Social Worker with a passion for decreasing the stigma surrounding mental health and promoting the health and well being of my clients. For my undergraduate degree, I moved from Central Jersey (Yes! It exists!) to South Jersey to attend Stockton University. I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work with a Minor in Behavioral Neuroscience from Stockton, and then moved on to attend graduate school in Philadelphia. I received my Master of Social Work Degree with a clinical concentration from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy and Practice in May of 2020.

I assist clients who struggle with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression and want to bring about change in their lives. I help clients who want to find a balance and stability within themselves to learn and reconnect to a more desired life.

You feel misunderstood, unnoticed, and underappreciated. You are questioning yourself and your abilities to handle life. You are thinking the same things over and over, with no real resolution. You haven’t quite found your “people” and it’s been weighing you down lately. I enjoy working with young adults who are learning who they are and what they want to offer the world, but struggle with motivation and self-esteem to accomplish their goals. In order to fully love ourselves, we must first learn how to understand ourselves. As a therapist, I want my clients to appreciate who they are, strengthen their relationships with people they love, and know themselves as peaceful, complete, and safe. Stress is a part of life, but it doesn't have to be the only part. I want to teach my clients how to manage difficult emotions, life's highs and lows, and experience their feelings without judging them.
