I provide treatment to children, teens and adults and see couples and families. I maintain a private practice in Harrison, NY and do teletherapy (www.michellemaidenberg.com). I am also the Co-Founder/Clinical Director of "Thru My Eyes" a nonprofit organization which offers free videotaping to chronically medically ill individuals who want to leave video legacies for their children & loved ones.
I teach a graduate Mindfulness and CBT course at NYU. I have advanced training in Structural Family Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Polyvagal Theory and Mindfulness.
I published two award winning books, "Free Your Child From Overeating" 53 Mind-Body Strategies for Lifelong Health & "ACE Your Life" Unleash Your Best Self & Live the Life You Want. I'm a blogger for Psychology Today. I publish guided meditations on my YouTube channel. I am on the crisis team with Westchester Trauma Recovery Network & the American Red Cross.
