You, the client, are the priority of my psychology practice. I work as a Licensed Psychologist and a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. What your goals and vision are for your life personally and professionally is the focus of your psychotherapy and/or marriage therapy. For many years I served adolescents, teens and families as a youth minister and school counselor. Since 1999 I've been helping individuals, couples and families who struggle with depression, substance abuse/addictions, relationship issues, adjusting to change, grief/loss and other concerns. I direct marriage preparation courses for engaged couples; provide marriage counseling and enrichment courses. Help adolescents, teens families, individuals, work toward wellness, growth and change. Hi! I'm Trista Weber and I believe relational wellness includes a healthy relationship with others as well as ourselves. I work with clients that find themselves struggling in their current relationships. I have experience with a variety of issues including, communication and conflict, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, intimacy issues, parenting support, premarital counseling and blended families. I also have additional certification for working with couple specific issues using Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy techniques.

My work as a therapist is to assist you to do just that...to help you learn about yourself, but to learn with much more compassion and empathy than you've likely allowed yourself before. Whether you are seeking couple's, individual, or family therapy, I will work with you to understand the issues you name more fully. We will then identify resources, strategies, and tools you can use to address and manage those issues more effectively. I utilize psychodynamic, CBT, EMDR, mindfulness-based, and relational approaches, and attempt to offer a holistic perspective.

My professional experiences have taught me that my passion is working with children and families. I have a wealth of knowledge in infant and child mental health. Also, I work with children who have trauma histories and the families that care for them. I have experience assisting with adoption issues, family work, anxiety, depression, PTSD, coping with life change, and child and adolescent mental health issues. Working collaboratively with parents is also an essential part of my therapy practice.

It's not always easy for individuals to admit they can't handle their challenges alone, nor is it an admission of weakness to look for help. The world around us may appear scary and unkind sometimes, but I have an unwavering belief that we are all agents of change. I believe we can bring positive change to the world by empowering those around us, one individual at a time. This is why I do what I do, and this is what I can do to help you.
